Childhood

We run and scream

Jump and fall

Cry for our mommy's

They hug us and kiss our boo boo's

We still want to play

Fight to get back outside

We always fall and cry

But never want to stay inside

Our imaginations run wild

In one day

We fight pirates

Ride unicorns

Steal from a mummy's tomb

And swim away from a giant shark

We tired ourselves out

Technology was for big kids

We did not play

With xbox's

Playstations

Laptops

Or flat screen TVs

We did not want to stay inside

I grew up to be

A strong woman

With high priorities

And respect for nature

And still use my imagination

My imagination is where

I get my creations

Children need to be

Outside again and

Play
